The filmmaker has been vacationing in Belize since she was a kid—her father, director Francis Ford Coppola, fell so in love with Belize’s charm that he purchased the then-abandoned Blancaneux Lodge (followed by Turtle Inn) as a retreat for family holidays and vacations. Unless I have to be on camera, I keep it super minimal,” she says, admitting she used to wear literally no makeup to work (I have seen this no-makeup version of Gwyneth up close.
